Amarula Cream Liqueur is a Southern African drink. A few facts about it: it is produced from the marula tree fruit, widespread throughout Africa. The fruit is so sweet that its starts to ferment while still on the branches. The smell is very attractive for elephants that enjoy eating ripe marula. This is the reason why the manufacturer chose the image of the elephant to be featured on the label. The beverage, which was launched in 1989, is very sweet, with notes of vanilla and caramel.
